The WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms are thrilled to announce the signing of Canadian Netminder #30 Hayden Lavigne, for the 2024/25 season!
The 6' 3" netminder is well travelled from a relatively short professional career across the pond - with multiple appearances between ECHL Franchises during the 2020 - 2022 seasons.
28-year-old Lavigne started his playing career with the Toronto Nationals U16’s AAA and went on to play 4 seasons in the Competitive Major Junior USHL, making 100 appearances, with 5 shutouts and 46 starting wins, posting a .899 SV%.
Lavigne then went on to become the starting netminder for the NCAA's University of Michigan between 2016-2020 posting a .903 SV% from 67 starts.
Most recently, Lavigne played 18 games in the Elite League for the Manchester Storm putting up a .886 SV% during the 22/23 season, and joined the Evansville Thunderbolts in the SPHL for the 2023/24 season.
Lavigne had the following to say on his signing for the Phantoms: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining the Phantoms for the coming season! I look forward to following in last season's footsteps and competing for some more championships.
