Please join us in welcoming back Sam Barlow for the 24/25 season. Sam returns off the back of 3 seasons where he has been utilised as a utility player. This season however, we will be expecting a more defensive role from him, although the fruits of his labour are a great advert for his offensive skill-set. In those three seasons, he had 57 games played where he produced 54 points - fairly good economy for a defensemen.
Coach Pollard Commented, ’I’m delighted to have Sam back for another season. He is the coaches dream, he can play both forward and defence and will do anything for the team. He is a big body that likes to play physically and has a heavy shot. Sam will be playing in his natural position in D this season but I’m still looking forward to being able to rely on his versatility if needed.’
Sam commented, ‘I am delighted to be back for another season. The team we are building continues to grow in strength. This year I’m hoping for the team to be even stronger than previous seasons. I look forward to playing alongside previous team mates and those who are new to the team.’
