Biography
We’re pleased to welcome back 16 year old Philip Maguire for the 24/25 season.
Phil joined us in December last season and left his mark on the team immediately after joining, he is an incredible skater with great puck skills, and he possesses a lot of strength and size which he has learnt to use to his advantage. He will again be splitting his time between us and the Romford Buccaneers in NIHL1 as he did last season.
Coach Pollard is really excited to see Phil’s progression next season, ‘Phil is an elite talent for his age, he is such a gifted skater and is really strong on the puck. This season is an important one for Phil as he continues developing his game, we’re looking to really work on his positional side of the game as he continues to grow in confidence and composure. The sky is the limit with him and I’m looking forward to seeing where we can get him to.’
Phil added, ‘I am really looking forward to returning to Peterborough next season and playing with a great group of guys. Nathan has put together a really good team that I can’t wait to play with for another season.’
