Biography
The WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the signing of 21-year-old netminder, Luke Clark.
The Peterborough born netminder came up through the Phantoms junior system from 2014 - 2020. Most recently, Luke has played 3 seasons with the NIHL2 side Haringey Huskies, posting up a 0.928 SV%. Luke will be joining the Phantoms organisation on a 2-way with the NIHL 2 Phantoms, splitting his time between the two clubs.
Luke Clark has the following to say: “ It’s an absolute pleasure to sign with the Phantoms. Growing up in Peterborough and in the Phantoms junior system, I looked up to players like Euan King and Stephen Wall. It’s an honour to follow in their footsteps, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Phantoms Head Coach, Slava Koulikov commented: “ I am really happy to bring Luke back home! Luke came through our junior system and also practiced with our first team, so we know him really well as a person and also what potential he has.
Over the last three seasons, Luke has gained valuable experience as the starting goalie for the Huskies and consistently posted very good GAA and SV% stats. After speaking with Luke, it was clear that he wants to continue to grow as a netmnder. I believe he will form a good goaltending partnership with Lavi, continue to develop and do a great job for both teams, Phantoms 1 and Phantoms 2.”
Welcome to the Phantoms Luke!
