Biography
We are pleased to welcome back #44 Kenny Bavin for the 24/25 season. His 8th season in phantoms colours.
13th in appearances, Bavin has certainly become a stalwart for the team, and his experience will be relied upon this season, with the more youthful roster we are bringing together.
Kenny has played as forward and a defenceman in his time with the team but more recently a defender. He provides a steady head and is extremely composed in his decision making on the puck. With 110 points in 132 games, we’re looking for him to build on this alongside his steady defensive game.
Pollard commented, ‘Kenny is important for our young team, he has been around the game for a while and I know I can rely on him in all situations. He carries the puck well and brings good offense alongside his steady defensive play. I’m looking forward to working with him again.’
Kenny had this to say on his return, ‘Hate to sound like a broken record, but I’m really happy to be back this year. Like every year we hope to be competitive, but I really think this year we’re going to be the team to beat.’
