Biography
We are thrilled to announce the signing of James Pentecost for the 24/25 season!
James is no stranger to Peterborough, given he leads the club in appearances, and is 3rd in all-time points with 114 goals and 162 assists for a total of 276 with the club.
Since his last stint in Peterborough, he has played for Haringey, Chelmsford and Oxford. He has continued to produce on the scoreboard in NIHL1 putting up over a point per game for 158 points in 118 games, adding to the 222 he already has in NIHL2.
We will be hoping for that level of production this year.
Coach Pollard is thrilled to have Pents join us, ‘James is a good friend and I’ve been trying to get him back over the last 12 months. I’m delighted he’s finally agreed! He reads the game incredibly well and his playmaking ability makes him a real asset to our forward lines and powerplay. I’m looking forward to seeing him in action.’
James commented ‘This is the place where hockey began for me, so it feels pretty special to come back. I’ve kept close with a lot of the guys on this team so I’m hoping I can fit in pretty quickly and do my bit to bring back some silverware this year.’
