Biography
We are delighted to announce the signing of 19 year old Dan Martin for the 24/25 season.
Dan spent 3 years playing in the Peterborough junior system, before moving to Nottingham towards the end of 21/22 season. In 22/23 he really put his name on the radar. He had the most points across all 4 u18 leagues with 21 goals and 22 assists in just 15 games and made his senior debut for the Nottingham Lions.
His strong skating ability and eye for goal will help us strengthen even more going forwards.
Head coach Pollard commented, ‘Dan is someone I remember from a couple of years ago in Peterborough juniors, he’s always been a standout player for his age and is extremely talented. I’m delighted he has agreed to sign and we’re looking forward to getting him playing with confidence again and showing what he is capable of.’
Dan is excited to get started, he said, ‘New club, new season and some new and old faces to meet and grow with in this coming season. The players I’ve seen in training and that Nathan has signed are strong and seem dedicated to winning. This will be an interesting season for me coming back to play in the south. Absolutely buzzing to see what happens.’
