Biography
We are thrilled to welcome back the clubs record goals, assists and points scorer, Conor Pollard.
With 177 goals and 218 assists totalling 395 points, Conor is over 100 ahead of 2nd placed Ross Mackintosh.
With silky hands and a real eye for goal, Conor is regarded as one of the best forwards in the league and his points totals back this up. An assistant captain for the past 3 seasons, Conor leads by example and is one of the main guys in the changing room.
Conor commented, ‘I’m delighted to be back for yet another season wearing the Phantoms colours. Nathan is putting together a very strong team this year and I’m very excited to be apart of that. I’m sure we will be competing week in week out and hopefully at the end of the season for some silverware. I’m already excited to get the season underway . The team is like one big family and I couldn’t imagine not being part of that. We came so close last year to winning a few trophies but I’m sure this time around we can go one better. Twin brother and head coach Nathan commented, ‘Conor showed up in every big game last season, whether that was the cup final, playoff semi, or a top of the table league game, we knew we could always rely on him. This is so important, as in the big games you need your top guys. His ability on the puck and in the corners is the reason I’m glad I’m playing with him and not against him!’
