Ultimate Lifestyle Performance will be heading in to their 11th season as the official team physiotherapists for the team!
Ultimate Performance Lifestyle are a Peterborough based multidisciplinary physiotherapy and sports massage practice. UPL offer injury prevention, rehabilitation and hands-on treatments to help clients recuperate after surgery or injury and better manage work related or postural problems. They also offer physiotherapist led Modified Pilates classes, supporting clients keen to maintain improved flexibility and movement long-term.
Naz and her team are always on hand to ensure our players are in the best condition to compete on any given night. They provide weekly treatment to our players from sports massages to acupuncture, working on any aching muscles or niggles picked up from the weekend's games.
Naz Reed, Ultimate Performance Lifestyle owner commented: “For more than 11 years, we have provided physiotherapy support to the Peterborough Phantoms ice hockey team. It is our privilege to aid the team in both injury prevention and treatment associated with this high-intensity sport. The extensive experience we have accumulated over the years with both common and complex injuries has enhanced our understanding of the game and its effects on the players' bodies. We look forward to another season dedicated to maintaining the players' fitness and health, enabling them to perform at their best during games”
