The WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms and Phantoms NIHL2 are pleased to announce two-way deals for Louie Kynaston, Nicholas Martin, Leo Markey & Dan Martin ahead of the 24/25 season!

Louie Kynaston (Phantoms), Nicholas Martin (Phantoms), Leo Markey (Phantoms NIHL2) and Dan Martin (NIHL2) have all signed two-way contracts with the Romford Buccaneers for the 24/25 season.

17-year-old Louie Kynaston played 33 games for the Phantoms last season posting his first NIHL goal and 2 assists. Louie also made 12 appearances for Phantoms NIHL putting up 4 goals and 11 assists to finish the season on 15 points.

17-year-old Nicholas Martin made 25 appearances in the NIHL1 with the Nottingham Lions last season, putting up 3 goals and 8 assists!

20-year-old Leo Markey is joining Phantoms NIHL2 for this coming season, having posted up 3 points in 43 games last season for the Phantoms whilst also playing for Phantoms NIHL2 and Romford Buccaneers.

19-year-old Daniel Martin is joining the Phantoms NIHL2 this coming season having played for the Nottingham Lions last season putting up 5 points from 22 games.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented: “Firstly, I would like to thank Bucker and the Romford Buccaneers organisation for giving our kids the opportunity! It is a great opportunity that will help our players transition by playing in all 3 leagues (NIHL National, NIHL1 & NIHL2) and giving them the best possible chance to transition in to senior hockey. We are very grateful to the Buccaneers for aiding us to develop young British players, and we look forward to working with them closely over the coming season!”

Phantoms NIHL2 Coach, Nathan Pollard commented : " A key part of development for the youngsters is making sure they get as much game time as possible and giving yhem exposure to all different situations to develop their game. We're excited to be able to aid the development of Louie, Nicholas, Dan and Leo alongside the Buccaneers and Phantoms and look forward to seeing their progressing during the season.
