The Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms regretfully announce that #34 Ralfs Circenis will be leaving the club ahead of the 23/24 season!
The 25-year-old made his NIHL National debut last season with the Phantoms after joining from the Solent Devils who play in the NIHL 1. Ralfs started his career by working his way through the Guilford junior system before jetting off to Canada to play in the GMHL for 3 seasons.
Ralfs played 58 games in a Phantoms shirt, tallying 22 goals and 33 assists in the 22/23 season! He proved to be a great summer signing for the team last year, quickly made his mark and became loved by the whole of the fan base and organisation!
Ralfs commented: “It has been a difficult decision to make on not returning to Phantoms for next season. Last year certainly was a great season topped off with a trophy.”
“I’ve made good friends and would like to thank my team mates, the fans and the organisation for allowing me to be part of this unforgettable season.”
We are sad to see Ralfs leave the organisation but we would like to thank him for all of his hard work over the last season, and wish him all the best for whatever may come next!
Thank you Ralfs #34
