Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to announce the return to the club of former Import defenceman Antti Kohvakka.
Antti who joined the Phantoms in 2002 would go on to have a successful time with the Phantoms spending five years with the club concluding in 2008.
Kohvakka more recently has been coaching the MK Thunder in National Division 1 South and will re-join the clubs coaching staff to head up the Phantoms2 in National Division 2.
Antti commented on his return “I am excited to back at this club. I had a brilliant time here before and to come back now and be part of the club again is fantastic.
“Peterborough has a really high reputation around the sport for creating and developing hockey players and I am looking forward to playing my part in improving players and taking them to the next level”
Antti will be joining up with the club over the summer as preparations begin for the 2022—2023 season.
The club would like to thank Jason Buckman for his efforts over the 2021-22 season and wish him well in his future endeavours.
