The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are delighted to announce that Martins Susters has been named NIHL National player of the month for February!
The Latvian forward scored three goals and added a further six assists in February, including a spectacular game winning goal in overtime against the Swindon Wildcats.
Susters was up against Ethan James and former Phantom, James Spurr. James has been the backstop for the majority of the Raiders’ recent wins, whilst Spurr had a productive point scoring month for the Sheffield Steeldogs.
But it’s Susters who has been named the National League player of the month for February. In the coming days, Susters will receive an OddBalls hat. OddBalls are the sponsors of the NIHL player of the month awards.
Congratulations, Martins, from everyone at the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms!
