The DALROD sponsored Peterborough Phantoms can confirm Darius Pliskauskas will be returning for the second year of his contract.
The 35 year old Lithuanian national star will this year be entering his 4th season with the Phantoms. Last season Darius contributed to the overall team success, in scoring 33 goals and picking up 33 assists.
Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented “Darius’s stats in the EPL speak for themselves. In 333 games he has scored 252 goals, assisted 201 times giving an overall 453 total points.
“In addition to being a great team mate, Darius always shows up with the big goals and plays when its needed, he is the type of player that can change the game and win us games. Above all, he does this whilst believing in our Phantoms philosophy”
Slava continues “To have experienced import players in our dressing room like Darius is a privilege, and we are excited to have them lead our team again this coming season”
Pliskauskas also commented on his return “I am really settled here in Peterborough and have enjoyed the past three seasons in Phantoms colours. Each year we have improved and I can see great things for this coming season, I can’t wait to get started.”
