Following questions from some of our Season Ticket holders, the Peterborough Phantoms would like to clarify the ticketing position for Tuesdays game againt the Milton Keynes Lightning.
As was announced in late August, just prior to the season commencing, our 2021/22 Season Ticket was sold on the basis of covering 27 home games.
Prior to Hull dropping out of the League, the league would have been split into two conferences and teams would have played 26 home games. We would have then added in a pre-season game to the coverage to make up the 27 Home games.
When Hull unfortunately dropped out, the league format was revised with the removal of the two conferences and the addition of the cup tournament at the start of the season. This now makes the season 28 Home Games without any of the pre-season games.
Therefore as a club we made the decision to remove the Milton Keynes pre-season game and also the game against Milton Keynes on the 28th December 2021 from the season ticket.
Removing these two games will still give season ticket holders 27 home games as part of their Season Ticket.
In regards to questions over the COVID Controls, at present there is no limit on the number of supporters allowed into the rink, and the government have advised that no further restrictions will be implemented before the New Year.
The wearing of face masks is required within the rink, unless you are exempt from wearing a mask. There will be hand sanitiser points through the arena and people are kindly requested to give other supporters space around the arena.
