Return of British Trained Player for Phantoms

The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are delighted to announce the return of Latvian forward Edgars Bebris on an 18 month contract.

Bebris, has joined us after half a season with the Manchester Phoenix, where he is currently sitting at the top of the points table for Phoenix, with 16 goals and 25 Assists.

“Edie”, who is registered as a British trained player, left Phantoms last season after being with the organisation for two seasons, including being a part of the 2015 Play Off winning team.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov Commented “We are excited to see Edie return back to Peterborough and I know the guys will be pleased to see him back in the changing room. He is a popular player on and off the ice and I am looking forward to having Edie in my plans for the remainder of this season and next.”

Slava continues “Edie has so many qualities, that will help us strengthen our side, especially now we are in the run up to the Cup and Play Offs.

I would like to say ‘Thank You’ to Tony Hand for his help in making this transition possible as well as our owners Dave & Jo, who have worked hard to make this possible. Bringing in a player like Edie part way through the season is not easy, so Thank you.”

Edie will play his first game as a Phantom this season, away in Swindon this weekend and then return back to the Blackpool based side, Manchester Phoenix on Sunday. Although he will be two games down as a Phantoms, we hope you all give him and extra cheer when you see him make his home debut on Wednesday 18th January when we play the Telford Tigers in the EPL Semi Cup Final, face Off 7.45pm.
