POWERPLAY MASTERCLASS EARNS PHANTOMS SATURDAY NIGHT WIN

Raiders 1–6 Peterborough Phantoms

The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms beat the Raiders to claim their second consecutive away win. The Phantoms powerplay proved to be the difference on the night with five goals scored by the special teams. 

Will Weldon kicked off the scoring, taking an assist from Bradley Bowering to put the Phantoms ahead at 4:24. 

Ales Padelek struck moments later to notch the first Phantoms powerplay goal of the night, assisted by Glenn Billing. 

And the Phantoms lead was extended to three when Padelek struck again at 9:09. 

James Ferrara made it four with a shot from the blue line which snuck into the net through the five-hole of Michael Gray. 

Petr Stepanek made it 5-0 inside the first two minutes of the second period, firing an unstoppable shot from the blue line into the top corner. 

Raiders got on the board through import forward Lukas Sladkovsky. He took a pass from Ross Connolly before firing beyond Jordan Marr and into the net. 

Susters struck again in the last minute of the game to ensure the Phantoms winning run was extended to four games.
