This weekend sees the launch of the NIHL National Pilot Streaming Series. With MK Lightning, Sheffield Steeldogs, and Swindon Wildcats will be taking to the ice the Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce two of our stars will be joining the line-up.
Forward Glenn Billing and defenceman Callum Buglass will be guesting for the Swindon Wildcats throughout the series. Both Phantoms have iced for the Wildcats previously, before joining the Phantoms, with both Callum and Glenn living near to Swindon.
Hockey Operations Manager Slava Koulikov commented: “Everyone in the hockey community; fans, players, staff, and owners have all been missing the sport we love. It’s been 8 months since we last competed on the ice, with the league’s final game of the 2019/20 season, being against Swindon Wildcats.
I’m really happy for Glenny and Callum to have the chance to get involved in the six-game series. The boys will be a little rusty after such a long break, but with the qualities they have I believe they will play a huge part in those games with Swindon”.
Slava continued “All teams in the league, including ourselves have gone through a tough year, and it’s great to see us all pulling together to get the sport we love to return.
Saturday 14th November is the first game in the series. To purchase your Live Stream ticket, click here https://swindonwildcats.com/tickets20-21/
Good luck to all teams and especially Glenny and Callum.
