PHANTOMS OFF-ICE STAFF CONFIRMED

PHANTOMS OFF-ICE STAFF CONFIRMED

The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are delighted to announce the return of our established off-ice team for the 2019/20 season.

Rochelle Owen will be returning to the club as the teams’ sports masseuse. Rochelle has been an important member of the Phantoms off-ice staff for a number of years, dedicating her evenings and weekends to the playing staff. We are very pleased to welcome Rochelle back for another year!

Our equipment team, David O’Meara and Kristian Kenny, will complete the bench staff for the Phantoms in the 2019/20 season. Both David and Kristian will continue their roles from last season, ensuring the players have everything they need for each game.

We would also like to welcome the newest member of the Phantoms organisation; Tom Lea. Tom is a familiar face to Phantoms hockey and has been running the Twitter account on home and away match nights for the past two and a half seasons. This season, Tom will be stepping up into the role of PR and Media Relations Officer, bringing fans all the latest Phantoms news and working with the local media to promote the Phantoms as far as possible. Welcome to the team, Tom!

Club Photographer, Tom Scott, will also be returning for the 2019/20 season. Tom is entering his seventh season as the Official Club Photographer. Having previously worked for Powerplay magazine, Tom brings a wealth of experience to the media team and we’re delighted he’ll be back behind the lens for another year.

Another returnee to the Phantoms organisation is Emily Woods, in her new role of Marketing & Communications Co-Ordinator. She began her Phantoms career as a Digital Marketing Apprentice working under Marketing Manager Carrie Buckman, and will continue to do so throughout the 2019/20 season. Emily is responsible for the popular Twitter GIF’s that made their debut in the 2018/19 season. Keep an eye out on Twitter for Emily’s brand-new set of GIF’s, which are set to make their debuts on the opening weekend of the league season.

Please join us in welcoming our off-ice team for the 2019/20 season!
