The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are pleased to announce that Nottingham Panthers’ defencemen Josh Tetlow and Joe Hazeldine will be guesting for the team this weekend.
Tetlow iced for the Phantoms last weekend and returns to Peterborough for a second week of guesting for the club. The British defenceman re-signed for the Nottingham Panthers in the summer and is into his third year as an Elite League defenceman. He came through the juniors at Bracknell and iced against the Phantoms a number of times before making his move to the EIHL. Having played over 100 games in the EIHL at just 21 years of age, Tetlow is a strong defenceman with experience in playing at the highest level of British hockey.
Joining Tetlow on the Phantoms blue line on Saturday night will be 18-year-old, Joe Hazeldine. Hazeldine has already iced over 50 times in the Elite League and will bring strength in depth to the Phantoms squad. He spent time with the Telford Tigers last season, scoring 21 points from the blue line in 27 games.
Both Panthers defencemen are well known to Phantoms Head Coach, Slava Koulikov. Koulikov has coached both Josh and Joe at GB u20 level. Slava said: “I am happy to be working with Joe and Josh, they are both good kids and good players and will only make our line up stronger!”
Please join us this Saturday when we face the Leeds Chiefs as the away team in our home rink, in a 7:15pm face off!
