Biography
Our 24/25 roster is completed with the signing of 16 year old defensemen, Lewis Byrne.
Lewis has come through the junior club at Peterborough and trained with us last season, he has represented England in 22/23 and has been part of the showcase set up for the last few years, showing what a real talent he is.
Pollard commented, ‘Lewis trained with us last season and I was really impressed with what I saw. He’s defensively solid, and is eager to learn and listens. He is a great kid and I’m looking forward to seeing him push on this season and show everyone what he can be capable of. He’s another Peterborough junior that has worked his way through the ranks and deserves his chance to shine with us.’
Lewis said, ‘I'm looking forward to playing senior hockey this year and excited to have a spot on the team. I can’t wait to start playing with the team and learning from them all. After going through the juniors for 10 years, I'm ready to play my first senior game.’
