The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are pleased to announce that Tom Norton has extended his contract by a further year!
Norton had already signed for the 2020/21 season, but his new deal will see him remain in Peterborough until at least the end of the 2021/22 season.
The 29-year-old defenceman and assistant coach is about to enter his eighth season with the club and is pleased to have already signed for his ninth:
“I’m really pleased to extend another year onto my contract. When Slava contacted me a few weeks back about adding another year on, it was a no brainier. You can see he’s trying to build something for the next 2 years, with the number of players returning on 2-year deals. I wanted to be a part of that!” Norton said.
And Slava Koulikov was delighted to see Norton extend his time in Peterborough: “Nortz is a great person and player and I’m really pleased he’s decided to extend his stay in Peterborough. He’s done an amazing job as a player, his stats last season speak for themselves, but he’s also been brilliant on the coaching side of his role; helping to develop our D core. There was no hesitation to offer Nortz the extension and I’m glad he’s agreed to stay with our organisation on a longer-term contract!”
