MATCH PREVIEW | BASINGSTOKE BISON

The Peterborough Phantoms take on the Basingstoke Bison in their only game of the weekend at 5:30pm.

PHANTOMS TEAM NEWS

Phantoms could be without a couple of names for Sunday’s clash with Basingstoke. Corey McEwen could miss out, whilst the Nottingham Panthers may opt to use Morgan Clarke-Pizzo in their Elite League fixture.

BASINGSTOKE BISON

Basingstoke travel to Peterborough on the back of a 7-6 win over the Bees on Saturday night.

TEAM NEWS

The Bison were missing a number of their squad for last nights clash with the Bees. Ollie Stone, Paul Petts and Alex Sampford didn’t ice and it is not yet known if any of them will suit up to take on the Phantoms.

They added Thomas Banner to their roster last night, and he could make the trip in the event of any absentees from Ashley Tait’s side.

SLAVA SAYS

It’s quite unusual to have only one game on the weekend but it’ll be nice for that game to be at home in front of our fans. We’ve had another good week of practice and we’re ready to take on a well drilled and well organised Basingstoke team. The minimum you’d always expect from Basingstoke is 100% effort for the full 60 minutes, it doesn’t matter whether they’re up or down in a game, they always keep going to the final buzzer and we’ve got to make sure we match their compete level on Sunday.
