Phantoms goalie Jordan Marr, sponsored by Serpentine Green, has been shortlisted for the NIHL National Player of the Month award for October.
The Phantoms goaltender goes up against Leeds Chiefs forward Adam Barnes, and Basingstoke Bison forward, Michal Klejna.
Marr conceded just 20 goals in 7 games last month, making an impressive 182 saves in the process. Marr has been instrumental in the Phantoms picking up points, conceding just once in two of the seven games, and posting one shut out.
The Scotsman is into his second season as a Phantom, having been a big part of the treble winning team of last season. He quickly became a fan favourite with his performances on the ice and his dance moves off it, some of which have featured in his match night Twitter GIF’s!
The winner of the award will be announced at 10am tomorrow (Saturday).
Everyone at the Phantoms would like to congratulate Jordan on an impressive month and for the nomination, and good luck for tomorrow’s announcement!
