JUNIOR PHANTOMS TO REPRESENT ENGLAND

JUNIOR PHANTOMS TO REPRESENT ENGLAND

A number of the junior Phantoms players have been selected for the England junior teams.

The England National Team Programme (ENTP) has named the final squads of the season for U13/14/15 boys and U16 girls. The U13 girls’ squad will be named after the final camp in February.

England head coach Ben Pitchley said: “The coaches have once again had a difficult job in making the final cuts, and that is testament to the talent and application of all players who have trialled this season.”

A number of Junior Phantoms have been selected:

Daniel Martin and Billy Thorpe – England U15

Archie Salisbury – England U14

Louie Kynaston – England U13

Chloe Carter – England U16 Girls

Phantoms Director of Hockey, Jon Kynaston, said: “It is really encouraging to see that talent continues to flow through our junior program. To have these numbers at different national team age levels is testimony to our program. Having worked closely with all of these players, they certainly deserve their selections and I also fully expect each of them will play a lead role in their respective national teams, they are likely to be key players also at that level and for us a club, that is really exciting. Well done to all of them, it is rewarding when you see hard work and dedication pay off. Good luck in forthcoming preparations with the national program and of course for the trip to Finland!”

Congratulations to the Junior Phantoms on their selection and good luck from everyone at the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms!
