We’d like to bring you more information on Joe Hazeldine’s move to the continent for the 2020/21 season.
The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms can confirm that defenceman, Joe Hazeldine, won’t be returning to the club for the 20/21 season.
Joe quickly won over the Phantoms fans, with a string of impressive performances in the defensive unit of Slava Koulikov’s side. He iced 14 times for the Phantoms in the second half of the 19/20 season, picking up two goals and five assists in the process.
And Joe won’t be icing for his parent club of last season, the Nottingham Panthers, either. He has been given the opportunity to join DEL2 side Lausitzer Füchse, where he will ice for their under 23 side.
The Head Coach of Lausitzer Füchse is Corey Neilson, a former Head Coach of the Panthers, and he has given Haze a big opportunity to begin making his name in continental Europe. Robert Farmer, a former Panthers teammate of Hazeldine, also plays for Lausitzer Füchse.
Joe goes with our best wishes and we’d like to thank him for his commitment to the Phantoms during his time on loan with the club last season.
