The club can confirm that Gareth O’Flaherty will not be returning to ice for the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms for the 2020/21 season.
Flatsy began the 19/20 season with the Bracknell Bees but departed after a handful of games, due to the distance he was having to travel from his home to training and matches on such a regular basis.
He joined the club mid-way through last season with the Phantoms in the middle of an injury crisis. He initially signed on a short-term deal, but that deal was extended until the end of the season following a string of positive performances.
The Milton Keynes Thunder announced this evening (13th May) that Flatsy has joined their roster for the 2020/21 season.
Gareth and his wife recently announced that they are expecting their first child in October, we’d like to say a huge congratulations from everyone here at the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms!
As O’Flaherty will not be re-signing for the Phantoms for next season, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank Gareth for his commitment to the club over the last few months and wish him all the very best for the future.
