The club would like to issue the following statement to update fans following a statement from Planet Ice.

First of all, we hope you’re all staying safe and well in the current circumstances.

We’re aware a number of you have questions regarding a number of topics, following Planet Ice’s statement, and we’d like to try to answer those today.

With regards to next season, the club remain committed to preparing for the 2020/21 season, regardless of when this may start. We’ll continue to prepare as we would for any other season, as if it is going to begin in September, to allow us to be prepared for when hockey does return.

However, we are aware that Planet Ice’s statement suggested that hockey may not return to their rinks until the new year at the earliest. If this happens to be the case, the club will support this decision with the safety of everyone being of paramount importance in a situation such as the current COVID-19 pandemic.

We have also considered the potential non-start of the 2020/21 season. In the event that the 20/21 season doesn’t go ahead, we will refund all fans who have bought season tickets.

If fans have any further questions, please email us at and we will gladly assist you.
